Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design or a related field
10+ years of experience in the fields of UX Research, Interaction Design, and UI Design of which minimum 3 years experience leading UX & Design team(s)
A solid understanding of all disciplines of UX and UI (e.g. IA, user flows, wireframing, prototyping and visual design)
A strong visual design background with a deep knowledge of „Google Material Guidelines” and „Apple Human Interface Guidelines”
Know-how in the field of research: interviewing users, setting up surveys and usability tests as well as interpreting the results
Deep experience in designing for multi-platform, with deep knowledge on the uniqueness of design challenges on each
Being able to interpret qualitative and quantitative data into opportunities for improvements
Strong knowledge of common tools like Sketch, InVision, Axure, Adobe Products
Experience in fast-paced environments such as startups and familiar with agile software development
Strong communication skills in English (German proficiency is a plus)

Raisin is making a concerted investment in design-centric and customer-centric multi-platform approaches to removing friction and creating delightful experiences for all our Customers across the B2C, B2B and B2B2C aspects of our company’s mission and purpose, as well as for our Raisineer employee-colleagues, too. The Product Design team will take a service design approach to improve the full-journey experience for each and all of them.
Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will lead a team of a dozen-plus UX and UI Designers, UX Researcher, UX Writers, and Graphic Designers.
You will grow the UX & Design team through filling talent gaps and mentoring the current in-house talent as the business objectives of the company evolve and grow.
You will intimately collaborate with cross-functional leadership— particularly Product Directors, CRM, and Engineering Leadership - to increasingly and compassionately improve our collaborative cross-functional ways-of-working, leading by example for your team
As de facto leader of the UX & Design “Chapter” you will support the go-to-market (business) teams in their design needs, and support the work product and development of designers working in that realm.
You will enthusiastically take co-accountability for the collection, curation and prioritization of “customer signal” from within the product itself (i.e. defining, instrumenting and measuring critical events), from customer service, CRM and other go-to-market teams, and from primary user research. And encourage your team to intrinsically take accountability for the same.
You and your team will solve user problems and unlock customer and enterprise value through user-centered design and service design practices, and serve as champion same.
You and your team will “own” the creation and/or curation of the user Journey. Including collaboration with POs on user journey mapping and product tear-downs, developing UX concepts, user click-flowing, wireframing (starting from low fidelity to high fidelity) and prototyping.
You will work with OKRs to set and achieve ambitious objectives for the Company, and improvements of your UX & Design Chapter.
