Your responsibilities
For further development and expansion of our successful business, Raisin is looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Security Manager (m/w) to direct strategy for the protection of enterprise information assets. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this is a key role in our international and diverse team in Berlin.  

Responsibilities of the role include:
  • Creating and implementing a strategy for the deployment of information security technologies
  • Directing and approving the design of security systems
  • Identifying protection goals, objectives and metrics
  • Ensuring that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested
  • Reviewing and approving security policies, controls and cyber incident response planning
  • Approving and overseeing identity and access management policies
  • Understanding the IT threat landscape for the industry
  • Delivering new security technology approaches and driving the implementation of next generation solutions
  • Ensuring continued compliance with laws, applicable regulations and best practices
  • Briefing the executive team on risk management, including strategy and necessary budget
  • Choosing and purchasing security products from vendors
  • Translating IT security knowledge into the identification of risks and actionable plans to protect Raisin’s business
  • Conducting a continuous assessment of current IT security practices and systems and identifying areas for improvement
  • Communicating with key stakeholders about IT security threats
Your profile
  • University degree in an information technology or engineering field
  • At least five years of experience in the information security field, especially in a security engineering or architecture role
  • Ability to drive organizational change and work with multiple areas of an organization to effect change
  • Demonstrated understanding of technological trends and developments in the areas of information security, risk management, web architectures, and cloud computing
  • Demonstrated ability to frame security and risk-related concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Experience in digital forensics
  • Ability to put security risks in appropriate business contexts, and to work with the businesses to prioritize security improvements that maximize business risk reduction
  • Ability to oversee pen testing to find vulnerabilities in all elements of a security system
  • Experience in data and information management, including classification, retention and destruction
  • Professional information security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA
  • Familiarity with international security standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills up to and including board level
